Let customers speak for us
from 20 reviewsWe just started reading the first book. He is so intrigued he was begging me not to put it down. Can't wait to read all of them with him. Definitely a great series for boys or girls who love hunting.
We have read all three books so far and I absolutely love each of them! We like to read our daughter 1-2 chapters each night before bed and it makes the perfect bedtime story!
My review is this book is a very good book for hunters it inspires me I’ve always wanted to shoot an elk and it makes me want to go elk hunting and shoot a huge elk great book also for people that like or want to elk hunt - Chase Griffin 9 years old
I’ve personally hunted Alaska and this book gives a great depiction of what that’s like. A lot of folks these days want to hunt there and many don’t quite respect the state or understand the difficulty or remote vulnerability. This book portrays real stories, real scenarios.
Our 6-year-old son Jax, who absolutely loves hunting and the outdoors, thinks this is one of the best books ever! Thank you for creating something for kids who love the outdoors!
Better than most hunting books out there.
This book had a great story and was very intriguing. The climax was so exciting and I couldn’t put it down. Very good for young adults or any age that loves a good hunting story .
Our daughter loves hunting and finding quality hunting books for kids in the marketplace isn't easy. She read this one in a day, curled up in her bedroom! Excellent book for pre-teen outdoor kids!
This book is so good and easy to understand. The author did a great job making it something both kids and adults will enjoy reading. I plan to read the next book soon!
10/10 recommend this book! My husband & I read 1-3 chapters to our daughter every night. The mother daughter bond in this book warmed my heart & makes me excited for a future hunting trip with our daughter. We cannot wait to read the next book in the series!
This book was so fun to read, as a female who has a younger brother & is passionate about hunting. As a female, I found this book very relatable & it encourages the reader to want to spend time with their loved ones in the outdoors! But this book isn’t only for females, it has a sneaky tie to the first book, the King of Devil’s Canyon, which is more relatable for the male hunters, providing appeal to all genders & ages. I highly recommend any of Clint’s books to anyone who is passionate about hunting or is interested in getting into the sport. I can’t pick one over the other, they were so good, just read them both!
My 12 year old daughter loved this book even more than the first one in the series! She said it gave her warm fuzzies and was adventurous at the same time. It has peaked her interest in hunting and she is anxiously awaiting for the next book to come out! She has been telling all her friends at school about it too. So fun to get wrapped up in a new series!
My 11 year old daughter is a bookworm, but won’t finish a book if she doesn’t love it. She read this book in less than a day because she said it was so good she couldn’t put it down! She really liked the action and adventure and that it seemed realistic. She is an animal lover and not really interested in hunting and she still loved it! She couldn’t wait to dive into the second book!
The King of Devil’s Canyon, as well as The Guardian of the Alaskan Tundra, books are children friendly & really do a great job of bringing the true meaning to the sport of hunting to light. This is especially important in children’s books, as many young hunters may not fully understand why the sport is important to so many, just yet.
These books are very entertaining & are hard to put down once you start them. They are easy reading & interest catching to new hunters who are reading, but are also very relatable to readers who have been involved in the sport for a while & have had similar experiences during their time in the outdoors.
My favorite part about the books is that they are fictional, so they keep you on your toes, but are written based off of Clint’s personal experiences as a young hunter, as well as his children’s personal experiences, as young hunters themselves.
These books are full of creativity & realism, & are great for all ages of hunters, & those eagerly wanting to start. These books also do a great job of putting the sport of hunting into perspective to those who may not hunt, or understand why some people do.
